Nick Bauer is the owner of Area Benefits, he brings years of expertise in employee benefits solutions. Nick's career began in the U.S. Navy, where he served as an Electrician aboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71). During his eight years of active duty and reserve time, he honed his technical skills and developed a strong work ethic.

After his honorable discharge, Nick pursued higher education, earning an Associate degree in Marketing from Chippewa Valley Technical College (CVTC) and a Bachelor's in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Stout (UW-Stout).
​
Nick's professional journey in the employee benefits industry has been marked by a convergence of innovative solutions and comprehensive strategies. He has specialized expertise in benefit administration, self-funded insurance planning, and consulting. His commitment to excellence drives him to continuously seek new ways to optimize benefits offerings and enhance employee well-being through cutting-edge technology and data-driven insights.
Nick is passionate about being the best in the field, ensuring that employers and employees receive top-notch support. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Barbara, and their two dogs, Marty and Tulip, while actively contributing to his local community.
